Web3 Network and FINFOR hosted the inaugural Frankfurt Digital Assets Conference (FDV), where Wolfgang moderated a panel on real-world blockchain applications.
The panel featured
- Alexander Höptner (AllUnity), who shared insights on developing a Euro-denominated stablecoin with DWS;
- Volker Braunberger (Funds on Chain), who presented his solution for unlocking new distribution channels and cutting administrative costs in the fund industry;
- David Riemer (arttrade), who explained how to make art an investable asset for family offices and asset managers;
- Alexander Lenz (SMAPE Capital), who outlined strategies for investing in digital assets; and
- Dierk Wilhelmsmeyer (Tradevest) introduced his AI-powered platform, which is designed to accelerate digital asset growth for banks and asset managers.

At a time when many are mostly fixated on meme coins and speculative trading, these founders are using blockchain technology to build the infrastructure of the future—shaping the tech stack for decades to come.
Wolfgang was also interviewed by Henriette Schulte from Fundview, a leading German publisher for the fund industry. They discussed the stark differences in startup risk perception between Europe and the USA.
Thank you to Manuel Müller, Markus Hill, Frank Dornseifer, Samir Zakaria, and everyone who contributed to a successful event through panels and keynotes.
